Faculty:

Julian Reid is Professor of International Relations in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Lapland. As a faculty member his contribution to TTC will focus on resilience.


Students:

Berno Odo Polzer is a researcher, curator and dramaturge working in the fields of contemporary music, dance and performance. He currently writes a PhD on the Political Genealogy of Circularity at the University of Lapland.

Suvi Alt is a doctoral candidate in International Relations at the University of Lapland, Finland. Her PhD dissertation examines the biopolitics of human security and human development, problematising the conception of the ‘human’ that these discourses presuppose as well as engaging critically with some of their existing critiques in terms of their conceptualisation of the ‘beyond’ of the biopolitical.

Charles Brophy

Iiris Jakolais a graduate student of International Relations at the University of Lapland, Finland. His general interests are oriented toward European/EU affairs, and in terms of crisis I am interested in the politics of resilience, which shoulds be the focus of my master thesis that I will write during the next academic year
